A queue system for the bakery

Saturday morning the queue runs out of the door and the paper tickets end up on the floor. With Qjume the customer scans a QR code at the door, gets a number on their phone and sees exactly how many are ahead.

What changes

• No ticket rolls to buy and no dispenser to refill — the number is on the customer’s phone.
• Customers can wait outside or in the car instead of filling the shop, and are told when they are close.
• Regulars without a smartphone are added with one tap at the counter, so everyone stands in the same queue.

How to set it up

Put the QR code in the window and by the door, and set up a tablet or old screen with the monitor so the number being served is visible from the whole shop. Two people behind the counter open two tills on the same queue.
