A queue system for the fishmonger

Friday afternoons and before holidays the counter is busy. A paper dispenser in a wet shop is no fun to keep running — a QR code on the wall can’t break.

What changes

• No equipment at the counter that has to survive water and cold — just a QR code and a phone or tablet for staff.
• Customers see the wait before they come in and can choose to come back later.
• For the holidays you can open more tills on the same queue and close them again afterwards.

How to set it up

Put the QR code by the door. Serve from a phone in a waterproof case at the counter, and tap "Call next" when a customer is done.
